The Alternative DFAM is a progressive organization. We support the candidates who believe that it is the people of this country that hold the power and that when everyday citizens become engaged in politics we can change the direction of this country. That's what happened in the 2008 Presidential election. It's what DFAM wants to do in Miami for 2010. For far too long there has been no bench in Miami for progressives. There has been no organization willing to dedicate itself to progressive change and take on the status quo. That's what DFAM is about, and instead of being complacent after 2008, we are empowered. Since November 2008, candidates (see the letter of thanks below) have seen what we can do and how we can be the alternative to the traditional status quo. Your donation of $5, $10, or more can help us retrain, refocus and retake our local & state government. |

If you've been closely following the Iranian situation or completely avoided it because it hits too close to home as you grew up in a war torn country, few will catch you up, give you analysis and really dig into the deeper issues like Trita Parsi. One of NIAC's brightest his new analysis revolves around what Obama must now do concerning the situation.
As I've said, he's one of those you really want to take his account into things.
